Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the automatic conveyance of coal without letting dust go out, by using air to convey the coal from a coal storage vessel to a burner through a fine pulverization machine.
CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic conveyor for pulverized coal is conveyor with sucked air, which carries small-grain coal from a small-grain coal storage vessel 1 to a separator 43 through a small-grain coal suction pipe 6. The air is sucked by a blower 71 and separated from the coal by the separator 43. The coal is finely crushed by a fine pulverization machine 31. The finely crushed coal is conveyed to a burner 51 through a pipe 61 by the air supplied from the blower 71 and is burned in a boiler 52. Since the pulverized coal is conveyed all the way through pipes, dust is kept from flying away to the outside, the environment is therefore protected from contamination and the whole process of the conveyance can be automated.
