Abstract

PURPOSE: To convey coal from a coal storage vessel to a burner through a blow tank and keep dust from going out, by combing suction, pressure conduction and plug-carrying with one another.
CONSTITUTION: Small-grain coal is suck-conveyed from a coal storage vessel 1 by a blower 81 and separated from air by a separator 21. The small-grain coal is finely crushed by a fine pulverization machine 21 and then conducted to blow tanks 41, 42 through a separator 43 by the separated air under pressure. The finely pulverizd coal undergoes plug-conveyance through a plug-conveyance pipe 71 so that the pulverized coal is conducted under pressure to a plug separator 122. The finely pulverized coal discharged from the bottom of the separator 122 through a rotary feeder 124 is mixed with air by an ejector 125 so that the mixture jets from the burner 61 of a boiler 62. Since conveyance methods appropriate to the properties of the coal in the various conveyance processes are adopted, the conveyance of the coal is stable.
