Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce number of pieces in a pneumatic conveying system which shall be capable of transporting wastes of different shapes, sizes and materials by separating and discharging transported wastes after passage in a blower and by utilizing the collected air again.
CONSTITUTION: The transported waste generated at a source 1, manufacturing facilities, is sucked by a shoot 10 which is given a sucking effect by a blower 12, transported in a transport pipe 11A with the air as carrier, fed into the blower 12 from the suction hole 12A, and sent out from the discharge hole 12B together with the air for another transport pipe 11B. Those transported in this pipe 11B are then fed into a cyclone type separator 4 from its supply hole, sinking there in swirling, and discharged from the exhaust hole 4A. The air, on the other hand, rises in the central part of the separator 4, and is exhausted from the upper discharge hole 4B and fed back to the transport pipe 11A through a pipe 6 and a regulating damper 13. According to this construction, the number of pieces of a conveying system can be reduced, for ex. feeder, exhaust unit, etc., and wastes can be conveyed away at any time, that has not been available according to a conventional type of waste exhaust system.
