Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable sprueless forming by arranging the heat exhaust end of heat pipes equipped in the deep holes of a sprue bush which makes an air gap between a stationary mold and said bush, at the side of a locate ring. CONSTITUTION:A sprue bush 18 is thermally isolated from the high temperature part of a metal mold by the air gap 16 between a sprue bush 18 and a stational metal mold 4. The heat transferred to the sprue bush across the air gap 6 is exhausted from heat pipes 11. A plurality of the heat pipes 11 is inserted into several deep holes 10 bored uniformly in a longitudinal direction of the sprue bush and is settled in the sprue bush 18 to enclose the sprue 17.
