Continuous casting mould includes a body of material of high terhmal conductivity defining a passage through the mould, the passage having aninlet and outlet and a feed tube of refractory material of low friction coefft. with one end of the tube projecting into the mould passage from the inlet end with the outer lengthwise surface of the end portion abutting against the wall of the passage.
