Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve an ultrasonic wave probe with less number of oscillators and good angle dependancy, by makig ultrasonic wave oscillators into a specified shape and arranging them with unequal pitches. CONSTITUTION:A driving voltage is applied between electrodes 5 and 8. A reception signal is induced between the electrodes 5 and 8. A piezoelectric film 7 coated with the grounded electrode 8 is bonded and fixed to the driving electrode 5 and a base plate 6 fixed with an adhesives by using a jig. Thus, one ultrasonic wave oscillator is formed. When the ultrasonic wave oscillator is taken as cylindrical form for the cross section like this, the angle dependancy is made uniform without fine shape for the oscillated ultrasonic waves. Spacers 91-94 are mutually connected to obtain a single grounded electrode and the end is covered with insulating plastic adhesives, allowing to form an electro- acoustic mutual conversion section.
