Abstract
PURPOSE:To condense ultrasonic waves to the focus in case that all electrodes are driven by the in-phase voltage of the same frequency, by determining the difference of distances between centers of adjacent electrodes and the focus so that this difference may be the wave length of ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION:Support material 11, back electrode 12, high-polymer piezoelectric film 13, and surface electrode 14 are laminated to constitute a high-polymer piezoelectric transducer. One or both of back electrode 12 and surface electrode 14 are divided, and high-polymer piezoelectric film 13 corresponding to respective electrode parts of divided electrodes is driven electrically through respective electrodes, and therefore, transmitted acoustic waves emphasize one another to form a focus.
