Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust an oscillation frequency easily by providing an area of a coating film, having uniform width and differing in thickness from other parts, between a couple of electroacoustic transducers on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:On a substrate 6, coating films 7a and 7b are formed and in interfaces between the substrate 6 and both the coating films, comb-shaped electrodes 8a and 8b as electroacoustic transducers are arranged. Between the electrodes 8a and 8b, an area 13 which has uniform width and is not covered with the films 7a and 7b is provided. Varying the width (x) of this area 13 adjusts an oscillation frequency. Although the said area 13 is provided with no film, the formation of a coating film different from other parts results in the same effect. Further, when at least either the coating film 7 or the substrate 6 is made of a piezoelectric substance, the same effect is obtained. Thus, the oscillation frequency is adjusted easily.
