Abstract

PURPOSE:To make easy the diagnosis of ultrasonic waves, by switching signal lines provided to the ultrasonic wave probe through the provision of electrodes at the fancy paper shaped dispaly of the 1st and 2nd surfaces of plate piezoelectric member and performing sector scanning toward two directions orthogonal from a single diaphragm plane. CONSTITUTION:Thickness of a piezoelectric material consisting of the 1st plane of an oscillator 1 made of piezoelectric member is left partly, a plurality of notches 2 in paralle are given to produce fancy paper. A plurality of notches 3 in parallel are given by leaving a part of the thickness orthogonally to the notches 2 from the 2nd plate opposite to the 1st plane of the oscillator 1 to form fancy paper. Electrodes 4, 5 are provided to each plane of the 1st and 2nd planes of the oscillator 1, and signal wire 6a-6j, 7a-7j are connected to the electrodes 4, 5. One of the signal wires 6a-6j, 7a-7j are gounded, and signals are applied sequentially from other signal wires 7a-7j, 6a-6j to obtain two direction sector scannings orthogonal with each other from a single oscillator plane, allowing to make easy the diagnosis of ultrasonic waves.
