CONSTITUTION:Piezo-electric diaphragm 14 where electrode 12 and lead line 13 are fitted is stuck to ultrasonic wave absorption material 11, and further, acoustic matching layer 15 which consists of epoxy resin having a thickness of the 1/4 wave length with a fillers mixed is arranged on diaphragm 14. Next, cuts are provided in acoustic matching layer 15 and piezo-electric diaphragm 14 by a grindstone, and they are divided to form plural piezo-electric vibration elements 16 independent of one another. Further, resin thin film 22 and protection film 23 consisting of silicone resin are formed on acoustic matching layer 15, thus constituting an ultrasonic transmission and receiving wave probe.
