Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a tuning work during the process by using IDTs, designing a time delay between two IDTs to be an electrode interval of an interdigital transducer so as to keep a phase difference of 90 deg. accurately, thereby enhancing the S/N. CONSTITUTION: A surface acoustic wave delay line 31 is used for a time delay means, in which an input interdigital transducer IDT31 that converts an intermediate frequency signal into a surface acoustic wave, an output interdigital transducer IDT32 that converts the surface acoustic wave travelled from the input interdigital transducer IDT31 into an electric signal, and an output delay interdigital transducer IDT33 that is mounted to provide a delay time of about t0 from the signal through the output interdigital transducer IDT32 are vapor- depositted and configured on a piezoelectric substance 32.
