Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve characteristics at high frequency range of a container, by connecting a metallized layer of an insulation frame attached around an element for adapting a sealing cap to a metal substrate (grounding) in the neighborhood of input-output metallized layer. CONSTITUTION:An element 102 like GaAs-FET, an input matching circuit substrate 103, and an output matching circuit substrate 104 is attached to a metal substrate 101. An insulation frame 105 which provides metallized layers 106, 106' for the connection of input-output terminals 111, 114 is attached around these. An insulation frame 107 which provides a metallized layer 108 to attach a sealing cap on the top is attached on the frame 105. The layer 108 is connected to the metal substrate through the metallized layer 108' and 116A-116D, and is grounded. Providing the layers 116A-116D like this prevents the isolation between the input terminal 111 and the output terminal 114 from degrading. The device can be used under high frequencies.
