Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the viscosity of printing ink and the freedom of printing pressure by controlling the rate of opening of a gauze having no pattern attached thereto after the preparation thereof in the exposure area thereof through etching or plating of the area thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A printing plate 3 having an opening 2 of a desired pattern is placed on the surface of a conductive layer of a printing board on which a resist film is to be printed by developing a photosensitive film. A printing ink 5 is applied on the conductive layer 1 via a screen formed with a fiber yarn of a gauze 4 composing the printing plate 3. In this case, to reduce effect by the diameter of the fiber yarn, the diameter thereof is lessened by a physical or chemical etching. Combined with a less passage resistance of the printing ink 5, the printing level of the printing ink 5 is made even for the projection part of the printing surface of the fiber yarn thereby ensuring a better resist film.
