PURPOSE: To reduce the whole size, to lower the price, and to increase heat exchanging efficiency, of a heat exchanger, by increasing coefficient of utilization of fins so as to reach its maximum.
CONSTITUTION: The fin 11a is provided, protruding at a predetermined pitch, to the external surface of a heat transferring tube 3a positioned on the stage of utmost upstream, in the relationship that it does not protrude to the side of downstream far from a heat transferring tube 3a, determined by the flowing direction of a primary fluid 1, among the heat transferring tubes 3 arranged on the straight lines 2a, 2b,.... in parallel with the primary fluid 1.
