Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve performance of heat exchanger and at the same time to facilitate manufacturing of the same, by disposing a plurality of L-shaped erected pieces serving as heat transfer fins in parallel to air flow along a circular passage around heat transfer pipes.
CONSTITUTION: When air is passed at a low speed in the direction of arrows shown in the drawing, air flows smoothly around the surface of heat transfer pipes 2 without causing separation of flow by the function of L-shaped erected pieces 4 disposed along a circular passage around the pipes 2. Therefore, air stagnated area 3 that has been accompanied with conventional arrangements can be reduced considerably, so that heat transmitting efficiency of air around pipes 2 can be enhanced greatly as compared with that attained by the conventional arrangements.
