Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable application of the titled device to gas ducts different in size and improve the heat transfer efficiency, by obliquely disposing heat transfer tubes in the gas ducts and changing the inclination angle of the tubes.
CONSTITUTION: Evaporation tubes coupled with an upper and a lower headers 1a, 1b are disposed in a high-temperature gas duct 2a. The tubes are inclined at an angle corresponding to the width of the high-temperature gas duct. Therefore, the tubes can be disposed in the duct independently of its width. Condensation tubes 4 are disposed in a low-temperature gas duct 3a of large width in the same manner. If the duct width is large (small), the inclination angle is made small (large) so that the tubes can be optionally disposed in the duct. Since the evaporation tube group and the condensation tube group serve independently of each other in the ducts, there is no adverse effect even if the inclination angles of the groups are different to each other.
