Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a laminar heat exchanger capable of draining water smoothly, which is suited for use in an air conditioner, refrigerator, dehumidifier, radiator, etc., by disposing a corrugated fin with some inclination.
CONSTITUTION: Between two parallel heat transfer pipe units 1, 1, a corrugated fin 12 having erected louvers 3 is extended with its folded portions 12' being soldered to the heat transfer pipe units 1, in the manner that it is zigzagged in a plurality of stages. Here, the corrugated fin 12 is disposed slantwise to the horizontal plane. With such an arrangement, condensed water sticked to the fin surface 12 is made to downward along the inclined surface and collected at the portion where the fin 12 is fixed to the pipe unit 1. Water thus collected is made to flow ito erected portions of the louvers 3 and flows downward therefrom, so that condensed water can be drained effectively.
