Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve heat-exchange efficiency by arranging tubes in zig-zag style and providing on a plate-fin with punched guide pieces which are opposing to the respective tubes and being formed so that respective openings are provided at one side thereof and guide planes, provided from rim portions of the openings to converged end portions thereof respectively, are inclined toward the centers of the respective tubes.
CONSTITUTION: A stream on a surface of a plate-fin 4, caused by a wind stream A, is flown from an opening 7 for a punched portion 6 into an opposite side of the plate-fin 4 and is converged by a guide plane 8 at an end portion 9 thereof, thereafter, is collided against a center portion of an opposing tube 5a', 5b'... for a cooling medium, as shown by arrow signs. On the other hand, another stream on the surface of the plate-fin 4 caused by another wind stream B is collided against a tube 5a", 5b"... for the cooling medium in a similar manner as shown by arrow signs drawn with broken lines. By such constitutions, ventilated wind stream causes a turbulent flow on the surface of the fin and is converged against the tube, therefore, heat-exchange efficiency may be improved.
