Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase heat transfer area and improve convection-cooling effect by providing fins on the inner surface of the inner plate, and to improve impingement- cooling effect and attain stable supply of cooling air by forming raised portions and recessed portions on the outer surface of said inner plate.
CONSTITUTION: Cooling blade is principally constituted by outer plate 1 and inner plate 2 and fixed as a unit to the blade fixing portion of turbine wheel. On the inside of inner plate 2, there is formed a hollow chamber 5 for introducting cooling air 4. On the other hand, outer blade plate 1 is formed with a multiplicity of air diffusing ports 7 for ejecting cooling air 4 from the inside of plate 1 to the outside along the flow of high-temperature gas 6. On the inner surface of this outer plate 1, there are provided fin-like partitions 8 for separating air diffusing ports 7, and small hollows 9 are formed between outer plate 1 and inner plate 2 by the partitions 8. Further, fins 10 are formed on the inner surface of inner plate 2 in the manner projecting into the hollow chamber 5, and raised portions 12 and recessed portions 13 are formed on the outer surface of inner plate 2 in the manner that they are coupled respectively with ports 11 and 7.
