Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the heat conductivity of a heat exchanger, as well as to facilitate assembling of it, by alternately laminating a fin having louvers and through holes arranged at certain intervals, and a spacer having through holes with the same intervals as of the through holes provided to the fin.

CONSTITUTION: Louvers 3 and through holes 4 are provided to a fin 2. A louver 3 is arranged on the fin 2, keeping appropriate interval to each other in the directions of width and depth of a fin, respectively, and a through hole 4 is respectively provided to the center part of a recess 5 which is formed by louvers 3, in the direction of the depth of a fin 2, keeping appropriate interval, too. On the other hand, a spacer 6 has optional numbers of through holes 7, provided to the center part of it in the longitudinal direction, having the same interval as of the through hole 4 of the fin 2. The spacer 6 is assembled to form one body with the fin 2 by inserting it into the recess 5 of the fin 2, and then another fin 2 and spacer 6 are piled similarly above the former spacer 6. A heat exchanger 1 is assembled by the above-mentioned arrangement.
