Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for the plain passage of a heater core and to improve its heat exchange efficiency by forming bent parts of a corrugated plate fin into flat surfaces, and providing louvers on the fin sides so that adjacent-fin sides are compensatory to each other.
CONSTITUTION: The upper and lower bent parts of a fin 5 are formed into flat surfaces. On the side of the fin 5, portions 12 which are part of the side left as it is, louvers 13 provided projecting outwards up to the width of the fin 5, and louvers 14 provided adjacently to the louvers 13 and projecting inwards are alternately formed. The louvers 13 and 14 are formed so that the sides of the adjacent fins 5 are compensatory to each other. Thus, since the air flowing in necessarily contacts with front edges 15 of the louvers, the heat exchange efficiency can be improved.
