Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce an atomizer of compact construction and of superior performance of atomization by a method wherein dissolved air is extracted from liquid fuel by cooling process after the liquid fuel is heated once and atomization is carried out by an electric oscillator.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid fuel is forced to circulate by a suction pump 8 along a route: return station 7→ heat exchanger 19→ pump 8→ supply station 9→ forced cooling sections 9a, 9b→ supply chamber 11→ pressurizing chamber 12→ return pipe 18→ return station. While circulating, liquid fuel is heated in a heating chamber 7 and dissolved air is extracted at high temperatures. The fuel is then introduced into the supply chamber 11 and the pressurizing chamber 12 to fill them up. An electric oscillator 33 causes pulsatory oscillation toward a nozzle unit 30 so that the liquid fuel is atomized through small hole nozzles 29 at the nozzle unit 30 and is ignited with an igniting means 35 to form flames 37.
