Abstract

PURPOSE: To save fuel required for combusting the waste fluid in the plant for heat treatment of the waste fluid, by preconcentrating the waste fluid by use of the heat possessed by high-temperature exhaust gas, and then combusting the concentrated waste fluid.
CONSTITUTION: The quantity of cleaning liquid S in an exhaust gas cleaning means 15 is controlled such that a predetermined volume of liquid S is always filled therein. Through operation of a pump 19A, the liquid S is sent to a cleaning column 17 and sprayed into the same. At the same time, a heating burner 2 of an incinerator 1 is ignited after setting a fan 33 and an exhauster 23. Then, through operation of a liquid conveying pump 27A, the waste fluid H in a waste fluid concentrating means 24 is carried into a contact tower 26 and sprayed thereinto. At the same time, the waste fluid H is sprayed into the furnace 1 from a nozzle 2 and combusted therein. The exhaust gas in the furnace 1 is cooled while passing through heat exchangers 5, 12 through heat exchanging with air supplied by the fan 33. On the other hand, air thus heated is carried via conduit 11 into the contact tower 26, in which atomized waste fluid is concentrated by heated air and dropped into tank 25.
