Abstract
PURPOSE: To save power consumption, by vaporizing fuel through contact of heating air to a capillary material shaped in the form of a gas cyclone, and thus utilizing heat possessed by the heating air effectively for vaporization of fuel.
CONSTITUTION: A vaporizing sleeve 1 is shaped in the form of a gas cyclone having a cylindrical upper portion and a conical lower portion. A capillary material 2 is applied over the inner wall surface of sleeve 1. With such an arrangement, liquid fuel impregnated in capillary material 2 is vaporized by making heating air supplied into vaporizing sleeve 1 from a supply pipe 5 including a selfcontrolled heater 4 flow downward along the inner wall surface of capillary material 2 with swirl. Fuel thus vaporized is then made to flow upward together with heating air at the conical portion of sleeve 1, and flowing upward at the central portion of sleeve 1, is discharged to a burner 7 via a gas outlet pipe 6. Here, the gas outlet pipe 6 is communicated to supply pipe 5 via an air supply pipe 8 which is arranged to by-pass heater 4.
