CONSTITUTION: As vibrations are transmitted to fuel oil 3 flowing through a hole 10 into a converging horn 4 provided in fuel tank 1, a squirt-like liquid column is formed on the converging horn 4 and the fine particles of fuel with a particle diameter of several microns are produced from the end of the liquid column. Whereby the energy density in the vicinity of the converging point of the converging horn 4 is increased to enhance the atomizing capacity. On the other hand, combustion air is supplied into the fuel tank 1 by an air fan 11. The mixed air is heated when passing a heater 17 and the fine particles of fuel in the mixed air are instantaneously evaporated to form a vaporized mixed gas, and this mixed gas is discharged out from a flame hole 21, ignited by a suitable means such as an electric ignitor and burned.
