Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize the satisfactory evaporating combustion of the burner by a method wherein the liquid state combustion of fed liquid fuel is performed by flowing it out of the minute gaps provided at the lower end of a fixed evaporation cylinder and then immediately transfered to the evaporating combustion by means of the combustion heat generated by said liquid state combustion and the air pressure produced with a mixing fan.
CONSTITUTION: The liquid fuel fed from a feed oil pipe 26 to the bottom of a diffusion cylinder 12 is uniformly atomized at the lower surface of a notch 11 and pushed by means of the air pressure produced with the mixing fan 15 against the inner surface of the evaporation cylinder 16, resulting in flowing down in uniform thin film. Said liquid fuel flows out from the minute gaps 18 and is ignited by means of the spark discharge of a discharging electrode 27 to generate the liquid state combustion which heats the outer surface of the evaporation cylinder 16. As a result, the liquid fuel diffusedly flowing down over the inner surface of the evaporation cylinder 16 evaporates easily and is agitatingly mixed with the combustion air by means of the mixing fan 15, being turned to be uniform air fuel mixture in order to continue the evaporating combustion by flowing through a gas chamber 4 and jetting from gas jetting holes 2 and 24.
