Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep wall surfaces at a temperature at which an evaporated gas does not liquefy and securely prevent cooling and liquefaction of the evaporated gas by a method wherein electric heaters are fitted in wall surfaces of a gas chamber or the like, and the heaters are fed with current for only a short time period in the starting stage of a burner to heat the wall surfaces.

CONSTITUTION: With a forced blast fed from a blowing chamber 6 into a blowing cylinder 9, with a rotary evaporation cylinder 5 rotated at high speed, and with fuel oil fed from an oil feed pipe 25, the oil is diffused by a diffuser member 24, introduced into a combustion cylinder 1 through a gap 12, and ignited by an ignition plug 23. As a result, with live combustion developed in the cylinder 1, an evaporation cylinder 5 is heated, the fuel oil is evaporated and mixed with air from the cylinder 9 to form a mixture gas, which is passed through a passage 14 and stored in a gas chamber 3, before fed into the cylinder 1 via jet flame holes 4. Simultaneously with the current supply for the plug 23, electric heaters 20 and 20a are also supplied with current to rapidly heat the wall surfaces of the chamber 3 and passage 14 to a temperature at which the mixture gas does not liquefy.
