Abstract
PURPOSE: To conserve energy by a method wherein all of the surplus steam being generated in a refuse combustion furnace is accumulated in an accumulator, the accumulated heat is utilized as a heat energy for preventing the generation of white smoke contained in the exhaust gas of combustion, while it is utilized as an operating fluid at the low pressure side of a dual pressure turbine.
CONSTITUTION: Steam V2 generated at a boiler 21 of a refuse combustion furnace 20 is directly fed to a high pressure side of the dual pressure turbine 24, and a surplus steam V1 from the boiler 21 is guided to the accumulator 22 through a high pressure steam accumulator 23. The steam in the accumulator 22 is guided to a low pressure side of the dual pressure turbine 24, to the second heat exchanger 31, and then heats the combustion waste gas G3 passing through a cleaning part 29 to such a degree as a white smoke is not generated. The discharged gas V4 from the dual pressure turbine 24 is air cooled by a condensor 26, thereafter passed through the steam scavenger 27 and water supply tank 28, then fed to the boiler 21. Combustion waste gas G1 from the combustion furnace 20 is heat exchanged at the first heat exchanger 30 with hot water W1 fed from the accumulator 22 as a heat accumulator liquid, then guided into the cleaning tower 29.
