Abstract

PURPOSE: To save a total air supply volume required for lowering a water level by sequentially closing an air supply volve per stage for the suspension of water supply when a water level specified per stage is attained.
CONSTITUTION: When the air is supplied, water passages A and B are separated by full closing both an upper stage guide vane 15 and a lower stage vane 16. Both water passages A and B are respectively air-supplied by an air pressure tank 11 through an upper stage air supply valve 12 and a lower stage air supply valve 13. Lowering the water level at the water passage B precedes. When the water level drops to the level b, the air supply valve 13 is closed while the air supply valve 12 is closed when lowering the water level at the water passage is acomplished. Therefore, excessive air supply can be prevented and sufficient operation can be exerted.
