Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to select water-supply freely from the upper supply port and from the lower one by a simple operation, by gathering the upper and the lower hot water supply ports of a solar heat water heater into one supply port by interconnecting them in the state of T-shape and providing the open and close valve of a diaphragm type to the intersection of both ports.
CONSTITUTION: When a water supply valve 6 connected to a solar heat water heater 1 is opened, the pressure in an operation chamber 10 is raised via a bypass pipe 21, pushing a diaphragm 9 downward, and moving an open and close valve body 8 down to open the upper hot water supply port 2 and to close the lower hot water supply port 3, by means of a valve operation rod 20. So that, opening of a hot water supply tap 5 will result in supplying hot water from an upper port. On the other hand, when a water supply valve 6 is closed, the water level in the hot water tank of a solar heat water heater 1 is lowered by supplying the hot water, the ball tap valve of a cistern 15 is opened and the water pressure in the tank is escaped, a diaphragm 9 is raised to raise an open and close valve body 8, and consequently, the remaining pressure in a bypass 21 closes the upper hot water supply port 2 to open the lower hot water supply port 3.
