Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent water from freezing, by closing a water delivering valve, stopping a circulating pump, and opening a drain valve to drain the water in collectors when the ambient temperature is below a certain temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A hot water delivering pipe 4 led from the collectors 2 is opened into the top of a hot water tank 1, the bottom of the hot water tank 1 and lower sections of the collectors 2 are connected by the water delivering pipe 3, and the water delivering pipe 3 is provided with the water delivering valve 10 and the circulating pump 7, and is connected to a drain pipe 8 having the drain valve 9. When the ambient temperature has become below a certain temperature, the circulating pump 7 is stopped, the water delivering valve 10 is closed, and the drain valve 9 is opened. The reference numeral 5 denotes a water supply pipe, and the reference numeral 6 denotes a hot water supply pipe.
