Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent freezing, by draining water in a water supply pipe and a drain pipe through a bypass piping when the atmospheric temperature falls.
CONSTITUTION: The water supply pipe 5 opens into a lower part of a solar energy heater body 1, and the drain pipe or hot water supply pipe 6 opens into an upper part of the solar energy heater body 1. A water supply electromagnetic valve 7 attached to the water supply pipe 5, a float switch 4 cooperative with a float 3, and one of contacts of a thermosensitive change-over switch 10 are connected in series, and to the other contact of the thermosensitive change-over switch 10 is connected in series a drain electromagnetic valve 9 that is arranged in the bypass piping 11 communicating with the water supply pipe 5 and the drain pipe 6. When the atmospheric temperature falls, the thermosensitive change-over switch 10 is changed over to the drain electromagnetic valve 9 so that the water supply electromagnetic valve 7 may close and the drain electromagnetic valve 9 may open.
