Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the stability of a color reagent to oxygen, etc. and improve the accuracy of measurement in the determining method of constituents in a living body by the enzymic method, by adding a thioethereal compound and/or dithioethereal compound to the titled color reagent.
CONSTITUTION: A thioethereal compound, e.g. β-thiodiglycol or cystathionine, or a dithioethereal compound, e.g. cystine or dithioglycerol, or both are added to an oxidizable aniline color reagent. The concentration of the reagent is about 0.0001W10wt% (W/W) based on an aqueous solution of the color reagent.
