Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the switching time of a card feeding speed by inserting an electric load in parallel with a motor corresponding to the voltage drop time of a power voltage for the prescribed period of time and consuming the electromotive force due to inertial rotation at the load. CONSTITUTION:Since a motor start signal becomes L level and a high speed signal becomes H level when a card is inserted, a voltage converting circuit 11 generates a high speed, and a motor 6 rotates at a high speed. When the card reaches the vicinity of the stopping position, a high speed signal is switched from H level to L level, the voltage converting circuit 11 generates a low voltage, and the motor 6 rotates at a low speed. Since the high speed to low speed conversion signal becomes H level at this switching time, a transistor Tr13 is conducted, allowing the resistor 12 to be connected in parallel with the motor 6, and the electromotive force generated by the inertial rotation of the motor 6 is consumed by the resistor 12. The time to convert to the low speed state can be shortened by the power consumption.
