Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit inspection of conditions for the formation of electrode patterns without damaging said patterns by forming patterns for inspection in the regions other than regions where heating resistors and electrode patterns are formed on a substrate in the same forming process for forming said electrode patterns.
CONSTITUTION: In regions other than a heating resistor arranging region 2' and an electrode pattern arranging region 3' on an insulative substrate 1 of alumina or the like, e.g., regions 4 on both sides of the heating resistor arranging direction, patterns 5 for inspection are formed in the same process as for electrode patterns 3 to be connected to heating resistors 2. Linear patterns 10 having equal widths and intervals to those of the electrode patterns 3, linear patterns 10W12 having widths and intervals larger or smaller than those of the electrode patterns 3, a pattern 20 for inspection of film thickness, and the like are formed. Using these patterns inspection of film forming conditions is possible without damaging the electrode patterns 3.
