Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An impact-absorbing urethane foam, excellent in impact energy absorption rate, is prepared, by reacting a mixture of (A) a polymer polyol of hydroxy value 20W160, obtained by graft-polymerizing 10W30wt% of a vinyl compound copolymer with a polyether-type polyol, and (B) 2,2'-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)- propane of hydroxy value 130W350, containing 2W7 equivalents of oxypropylene, in a weight ratio of 0.3W2.5, with an isocyanate, in the presence of a foaming agent, catalyst, surfactant, etc.
