Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled molded article having improved yellowing resistance, by expanding a composition solution comprising a polyol of a specific copolymer of styrene and acrylonitrile, polyisocyanate, a crosslinking agent, blowing agent, etc., followed by curing.
CONSTITUTION: Styrene and acrylonitrile in a weight ratio of 1/2W3/2 and in total amount 4W25wt% are grafted onto a polyether polyol, e.g., polyoxypropylene glycol etc. to give a graft copolymer, which is blended with a polyisocyanate, e.g., 4,4'- diphenylmethanediisocyanate, etc., having an NCO index 90W120, a crosslinking agent, e.g., ethylene glycol, etc., having a hydroxyl number not less than 300 and two or more OH groups, low-boiling halogenated hydrocarbon, etc. and a catalyst, to give a composition solution for preparing polyurethane. The solution is injected into a closed mold to give the desired molded article.
