Abstract
PURPOSE:To start a rotor in one specified direction without fail by installing a permanent magnet at the position which is shifted from the center of the pole of a stator, and stopping the rotor at the position which is shifted from the center of the pole of the rotor when the power source is turned OFF. CONSTITUTION:The Hall motor is constituted by stator windings 8 and 9 which are sequentially excited by the current-conduction control by switching elements 11 and 12, a permanent magnet rotor 7 which obtaines a rotating force by the electromagnetic force caused by said stator windings 8 and 9, and a Hall element 10 which senses the position of the rotor 7 and controls the ON and OFF of the switching elements 11 and 12. The permanent magnets 13 and 14 are fixed to the positions which are shifted from the center of the pole of the stator 6. When the power source is turned OFF, the center of the pole of the rotor 7 is always stopped at the position which is shifted from the center of the pole of the stator 6. Therefore, when the power source is turned ON, the rotor 7 can be started in one specified direction without fail.
