Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the commutatorless electric motor having simple winding, which is a driving circuit and a magnetism detecting circuit thereof realizable with the minimum constituting parts, and being capable of self-starting and prevention of reversion by a method wherein the magnetic pole parts of a permanent magnet rotor is formed in a pedestal type. CONSTITUTION:The inclined parts 21 of segment type magnets 2 formed to have the inclined part 21 at one side face are put facing with each other to form fan- shaped valley parts, and the magnets are arranged in a ring type as to form those parts being made to face with each other at 180 deg. to constitute the rotor. A Hall element H to detect the position of the rotor is provided at the part spreading in a fan-shape inside of the segment type magnets 2 to face with the rotor. The driving windings L1-L4 are made to flow a current selectively to perform excitation in accordance with an output of the Hall element H. Accordingly the number of the Hall elements and semiconductor elements for electric power can be reduced, and self-starting and prevention of reversion become possible.
