Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep power current constant by driving a thermogenous element by voltage charged in a condenser as well as correct the rise of temperature due to self thermogenesis and make the concentration of printing uniform by gradually lowering applied voltage in case where driving is continued. CONSTITUTION:A switch circuit (transistor) Tr operating according to printing signal is connected in series with a thermogenous element RT, and in parallel with these, an element R2 to charge a condenser 12 is provided. When the transistor Tr is off, no current flows in the thermogenous resistor RT and the condenser 12 is charged through a resistance R2 which is one of charging elements. In case where printing pulse signal 10 is continued, the values of its capacity and the resistance R2 are selected so that the condenser 12 is insufficiently charged during the off- period of the transistor Tr.
