Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent quickly an extraordinary increment of the temperature for the heater, by connecting the two switching elements in series to the heater.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature is nearly at the ambient temperature T0 at the moment when the power supply switch 44 is turned on. Thus the resistance value of the thermistor 1 is high, and the output of the comparator 14 is at a "high" level. Accordingly, transistor 34 conducts along with the heater 42. When the temperature of the heater 42 rises higher than the working temperature, the resistance value of the thermistor 1 lowers. Thus the output of the comparator 14 shows a "low" level to make the transistor 34 nonconductive. And the current is interrupted to the heater 42. The comparator 14 repeats a "high" and "low" level alternately near the working temperature T1 of the heater 42 to maintain a constant temperature substantially. In case when some fault arises to increase the temperature of the heater 42 higher than T2, the output of the comparator 18 shows a "high" level to make the transistor 31 conduct. Thus the breaker 28 is energized.
