Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain printing dots of uniform density and configuration by a method wherein input electric powers for two groups of heating elements recording with different timings are changed among these two groups in a heat-sensitive recording system in which a thermal recording head is formed with a beltlike continuous heating element. CONSTITUTION:In a beltlike continuous heating body 3 on an insulating base 1, heating elements R1, R2... are formed between respective lead electrodes 2 and they are connected to terminals D1-D10 through diodes 5D while to terminals S1-Sn through diodes 5S. A voltage control switching circuit 9 is cpnnected between the terminals S1-Sn and voltage terminals 7 and transistors 11, 12 are conducted in accordnace with switching signals (respective timings S1-Sn) impressed from a switching terminal 10, while, controlling a DC voltage inputted from the electric source terminal 7 into a value of voltage determined in a voltage setting circuit 13 and output it to an output terminal 14 (S1-Sn). Said output voltage is actuated as a driving pulse for the heating elements.
