Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a mandrel which can effectively cool bubble and uniformly cool the bubble through a simple operating process by combining a heat pipe with the mandrel proper. CONSTITUTION:A mandrel 1 consists of the whole or part of the evaporate portion 2a of a heat pipe located within the mandrel 3 proper, and a condensing portion 2c projected from the mandrel 3 proper. In the course of time when a fused resin 14a is formed into a resin film 14d, it is shaped into a long cylindrical bubble 14c. In the 14c in which a certain amount of air is enclosed, the farther the location from the mandrel 3 proper, that it, as it approaches the inside tip of the bubble 14a, the lower the temperature becomes. Therefore, the condensing portion 2c of the heat pipe 2 is located in such an atmosphere that the temperature therein is lower by more than 50-70 deg.C than that of the condensing portion 2a placed in the mandrel 3 proper, thus allowing the heat pipe 2 to cool the mandrel 3 proper effectively according to the difference in temperature.
