Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain said bottle having excellent heat stability and unevenness of sharp edges on its outer periphery, by molding the parison which is heated to the temperature suitable for stretching at the two stages using the primary mold forming an intermediate bottle and the secondary mold forming a finished bottle. CONSTITUTION:A parison P heated at the temperature suitable for stretching (e.g. in case of polyethyleneterephthalat, 80-150 deg.C etc.) is set in a primary mold 1 and a blowing nozzle 2 is attached to the opening part of said parison. After pushing a stretching rod 3 in the parison and stretching it longitudinally or performing longitudinal stretching by blowing pressurized fluid (in absolute pressure 10-30kg/cm<2>) from the blowing port 21 and expanding until it contacts to the mold face it is kept for a predetermined time and heat-treated, and the pressure is reduced, then an intermediate bottle is taken out. Next, said intermediate bottle is set in a secondary mold 4, formed by blowing pressurized fluid (15-30kg/cm<2>) into said bottle and a finally shaped bottle having unevenness of shape edges is obtained.
