Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a display panel which is high in light emitting density, brightness and efficiency in such a way that deterioration of phosphor is prevented by providing other dielectric laminates to control ions which are produced when discharging electricity. CONSTITUTION:With electric discharging electrodes 102 which are transparent at least on one side of those alternately on the surface of an insulating base plate 101 arranged, dielectrics 103 are coated on the surfaces of the electric discharging electrodes. Other dielectric laminates 110 made of alumina, forsterite, etc. which are lower in the dielectric constants and less in the loss at least in comparison with the dielectrics 103 among display cells 113 which are formed by an insulating material 112 to constitute the display cells are arranged in a desired thickness of the membrance side-stepping the crossed part of the opposite electric discharging electrodes 102, and an electric discharging passage 105 is formed at the crossed part only of the electric discharging electrodes 102.
