Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent defects of products by inserting an cope into a opening of a dray cavity in an airy state and shutting off the air through pouring molten metal from other sprue to prevent involving of the air, and further, solidifying the molten metal with a pressure punch.
CONSTITUTION: A cope 3 is moved downward and a sealing part 3a is inserted into an opening 2a in the upper surface of a drag 1 in an airy state. Then, a cover 10 of the drag 1 is turned to the open position and pouring is made from a spure 6. The molten metal flows gently from the bottom side of the cavity 2 into cavity 2 through a cross gate 7 and fills the cavity. Next, the cover 10 is turned to the close position and the sealing part 3a is inserted in a sealed state, and the molten metal in the cavity 2 is pressure solidified by moving the pressurizing punch 5 upward.
