Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the supply of sufficient current with a simple construction and to enable the regenerative braking stably by obtaining the output of a pulse width modulation conrol circuit, the output of a polarity identifying circuit and the output of a ring counter as logically processed, thereby obtaining the control output of the inverter. CONSTITUTION:The inverter main circuit 2 includes 6 transistors 21-26 and 6 diodes 31-36. The control circuit 3 includes a ring counter 12, a polarity identifying circuit 19 and a pulse width modulation circuit 8, and the outputs therefrom are inputted to a logic synthesizer circuit 13, which in turn processes them logically. The output from the logic synthesizer circuit 13 is applied through a photocoupler circuit 39, a base drive circuit 40 to the bases of the power transistors 21, 26 as the main components of the inverter.
