Abstract

PURPOSE:To economize power consumption in a power supply circuit equipped with a DC-DC converter by starting the circuit appropriately when power supply is put to work. CONSTITUTION:When power supply is put to work, data are inputted to a DC-DC converter for a stated period required for the starting of a processor 6 and, after securing the voltage to enable the operation of the processor 6, the processor 6 is started appropriately, so that output is sent from the processor 6 to an OR logical element 5 to control so as to close an intermittent switch 4 and operate the DC-DC converter intermittently, economizing the power consumption.
