Abstract
PURPOSE:To alleviate the possibility of introducing power consumption and trouble in a DC/DC converter of interruption control type by limiting the operating period of an auxiliary power source for driving an interrupter in the converter to the transient period to when the main output DC voltage reaches the perdetermined value. CONSTITUTION:An interrupter 5 is driven by an auxiliary power source 3' during the transient period until the main output DC voltage V2 reaches the predetermined value, and is thereafter driven by a main output DC power source V2 which reaches the predetermined value. Thus, the period while the auxiliary power source 3' is operating during the operating period of the DC/DC converter is limited to a short period of time, with the result that the possibility of introducing the power consumption and the trouble can be remarkably alleviated.
