Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by keeping running speed during standby nonexcited operation to a minimum within avairable revolutional energy range, accelerating to necessary minimum of load, and taking out energy. CONSTITUTION:A motor-generator is used for a power supply of a plasma control coil in nuclear fusion and emits great energy in short time. It is operated at minimum speed S2 during standby nonexcited status, with approximately 60% load for the first time t10, with approximately 80% load for the second time t11, and with approximately 100% load for the third time. The speed is increased to the maximum S1 with 100% load, however energy is exhausted at slower speed than S1 with partial load accordingly. Thus, its loss is reduced remarkably and energy is saved by keeping it at the minimum speed during every standby period.
